I don't know about where you're from, but the past few days here in Northwest Arkansas have been nothing but rain (and I'm talking like monsoon-style, I can't see two-feet in front of my car while I'm driving, rain). Personally, though, I love the rain. Thunderstorms and wild rain is weirdly calming to me-I just love being cozied up inside with a book (or Netflix) and some coffee on rainy days.
What's a rainy day without a rainy-day playlist though?
Check out my top 10 songs to listen to on rainy days (but be forewarned, if you're looking to get pumped up my chill day playlist is probably not for you).

Skinny Love, Birdy: I'm obsessed with Birdy's cover of this Bon Iver song. So much so that I did a cover of her cover (confusing right?) on this rainy day, which you can check out over on my YouTube channel:

Bloom, The Paper Kites: This song will literally make you want to wrap yourself up in your softest, most-cuddly blanket and just watch the rain. So peaceful.
I See Fire, Ed Sheeran: So chances are if you saw the Hobbit or like Ed Sheeran at all you've heard this song off his second album, X. No one can even argue against this guy's crazy amount of talent.
Queens, Misterwives: A little more upbeat than the past three songs listed, this song has a really positive message that can turn anyone's rainy-day dumps around.
Like a Star, Corinne Bailey Rae: Released almost a decade ago (I just made myself feel way too old) this is still- and always will be-a personal favorite.
To Be With You, The Honey Trees: With an album cover as enchanting as this, you'll love to know their music is even more dreamily magical. Check them out!
Kiss Me Slowly, Parachute: You'll probably be wishing you were madly in love with someone (not counting celebrities thousands of miles away *Harry Styles*) by the end of this song. And if you are in love with someone, congrats, you can relate this song to real life!
In My City, Ellie Goulding: So if you know me at all, you know that Ellie Goulding is my favorite artist (and arguably the coolest human) ever, so this list would be a joke if I left her off. This song from the Halcyon album is a must.
Tumor, Allie X: A friend showed me this song a few weeks ago and I can't stop listening to it. So I don't know if it really counts as just a rainy day song, but it is addicting.
Wake the Earth, The Honey Trees: Oh them again? Yes. Y'all, they're really freaking good and their live version of this song will bring you to tears.
