Meet Hannah From Dubai
To let you know a little bit more about me, I'll start by telling you about a few things I'm definitely not. The first thing you need to know is that I'm not loud. I'm just not the type of person to be vocal about everything I want to say or do I'm just the quiet one, sitting in the corner, doing my own thing. I'm not sporty or athletic either. Although sometimes I play sports (once I tried out for the volleyball team and passed, however my parents, sadly, did not let me join) I wouldn't consider myself the sportiest type. Maybe this is because I focus more on my academics than being involved in varsities. I'm also not gifted in singing. I really don't know how to describe myself in music, though. I can play keys and guitar, but I don't sing. Well, maybe I sing from time to time, but not in front of people. I'm also not into computer games-probably because I will be using social media or reading articles and blogs when I'm on the computer. Granted, we all have our crazy side, people don't see, but for me, these are some things I am not.
Growing up in Dubai is pretty different than living in my own country-from the different cultures, extreme weather, language barriers and everything else. Even then I've gotten used to this place already. I call it my home. My home, sweet home.
I may not have so-called adventures and travel diaries, but I know each of us have our own little escapades and stories to share in life. This is one of the reasons I started to blog. Blogging used to just be a hobby for me, until I really started to love it. You see, blogging isn't an easy job. It takes dedication, hard work and discipline to get things done well and on time. Although blogging has a lot of benefits, this past-time can also bring headaches. Sometimes because we (bloggers) don't know what to say or write, other times, because we're just not in the mood to do the critical thinking. As a blogger, having to write things about anything isn't always easy... Unless you're an expert, grammarian or so.
Nevertheless, blogging brings enjoyment and fun, especially when you get to write guest posts for other blogs, like this! It's also fun when you join blog chats and meet other bloggers on and off the internet. It brings so much knowledge when it comes to learning the English language. I want to be a journalist in the future, so I think blogging teaches me the basics or writing in advance, which I consider a benefit.
Sharing my life stoeis and mini adventures, is one way of telling the world about Hannah Drilon's life and what makes her, her-or rather-what makes me, me. Life just as at is. You can't get everything at once, it takes a step by step process. A process where everyone has to learn new things in ways that make us a better person than we are today.
My blog is about what I experience in life: the happy, the good and even the ugly. It's my online journal where I get to express my faith, my opinions, my rants, my learnings, random musings and everything about my life. I just hope my so ties will also inspire people the way I am inspired by reading other peoples blogs.
If you're the kind of person who wants a sneak peak into someones diary, you can head on over to mine at hannahdrilon.weebly.com!
Special thanks to Patricia for letting me write on her blog!
